SideMe (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an AI-powered coding learning app. For data protection laws (including GDPR), we act as the data controller for the data we process through the App.

 

2. Data We Collect

We only collect and process:

  • Apple account identifier provided by Apple when you sign in with Apple,

  • Learning progress and usage data (to track your exercises),

  • Device information (technical logs to ensure app performance).

We do not collect your email address unless you choose to share it with us (for support requests).

 

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data to:

  • Provide your personalized learning experience,

  • Store your progress across devices,

  • Improve and secure the App.

 

4. Sign in with Apple

When you log in using Sign in with Apple, authentication is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your Apple password or other sensitive data. Apple’s processing of your data is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

 

5. Payments

All payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not store or process your payment information.

 

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share data with:

  • Apple (for login and payments),

  • Service providers necessary to run the App (e.g., cloud hosting).

All providers are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.

 

7. User Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data.

8. Data Retention

We keep your learning progress as long as your account is active. If you delete your Apple account or request deletion, your data is removed.

 

9. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.

 

10. Children’s Privacy

SideMe is intended for users 18 years or older. Users under 18 may use the App only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

 

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be notified via the App.
